The hotel is in an incredible location just a 5-minute walk from Barbes - Rochechouart tube station. the units are cheap and perfect, with spacious rooms, big windows, and a great shower.

4-5 minutes from the underground, are subcentral enough. This all pluses.
Number was dirty, in bed we have found out someone's hair. Towels were is grey-yellow. it is impossible to use for the designated purpose. Beds all the different sizes. On one bed under a bed-sheet there was an oilcloth (probably for children) - it was inconvenient, unpleasant to sleep and hot. On recepcion almost always nobody.some taxi drivers refused to go to this place.don`t costs this money...

Good hotel for this price, but I expected better. Personal do not speak English. For the 2-3 night this hotel will be good deal.

The breakfast was a great deal! It's close to Gare du Nord. Metro is just around the corner. Rooms were clean.
We had two rooms. The room at the back of the building was quiet and easy to sleep in. Our other room that faced the front, E.G. the road, was noisy and made it harder to sleep.

The breakfast was one of the better breakfasts we have had in a hotel in France.
Since when do you get downgraded because the hotel has overbooked? That is what happened to us. I booked 3 nights at Euros 240 at this hotel. When I arrived they said they had overbooked and we had to move to another hotel for one night (and if we liked it we could stay for all 3 nights - what a laugh!). We were offered free breakfasts as compensation (Euro30). We were escorted to the other hotel, Hotel Meliti, about a km away, passing several hotels on the way. Once there, our escort took off very quickly, we were given a key and sent to room 107. Beware this room, anyone. It was dark, damp, smelly (cigarettes and damp), the TV and shower did not work, the towels were nothing more than thin hand towels and the pillow was filthy. We did not realise this until 11pm at night so we put up with it but in the morning, we were told by reception that it was a Euro55 room. We went back to the Hotel Montmartre Clignancourt for breakfast where they were quite dismissive of our experience. The staff were very surly - reception and restaurant staff - a smile would have gone a long way after our terrible night. The room we were then given at the Hotel Montmartre Clignancourt was not special at all - basic in the extreme (no bedside tables or bedside lamps, no shampoo/conditioner, only one large towel and we were given a second only grudgingly). I am not sure of the room rate but we were told that the basic double room was Euro75. So they came out of the deal square, but I think we got a raw deal and would never recommend this hotel.

10 minutes walk to Sacre Cour in Montemarte. Close to Metro/Bus station to go to all the landmarks in Paris. Hotel looks run down but they are in the process of remodeling. There are McDonald's right across the street, bakery next door, grocery close by and several restaurants near by hence it was not worth paying the hotel's breakfast. We choose this hotel because of their price. The hotel is very basic - bed and bathroom (small bar of soap, no shampoo and hairdryer).
Hallway and stairs carpet looks so worn out. You can hear noise from the street and from other residents in the hotel. I would recommend if you are looking for cheap place to sleep and did not care for looks and a "lobby" to hang-out.
